What happens if the event is cancelled due to new government guidelines regarding Covid-19?
While we feel this is very unlikely to be the case, should this happen your tickets will be automatically transferred to a new date.
If I can’t make the new date can I pass my tickets on to someone else?
Yes all we require is the name and contact details of the new ticket holder.
If I can’t find anyone to take my ticket can I get a refund?
Of course contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note the booking fee is not refundable.
What if a I need to cancel for a reason of my own?
Your tickets are non-refundable but there will be an option when purchasing your tickets to buy insurance for £2 which will cover your ticket and booking fee should you need to cancel for an emergency of your own.
Will we be allowed out of our car while on site?
For the May events at Southend and Brentwood, we ask that you stay in your vehicle for the duration of the film. You can leave to use to the toilet and to purchase food or beverages but whilst moving around the site you should do so alone, maintain social distancing of 2 metres and wear a mask unless you are legally exempt.
How many people are allowed in my vehicle?
Your ticket covers the number of people in your car. But do not carry more than the legally permitted for the size of your vehicle as you will be refused admission.
Will there be toilets on site
Yes and toilets will be operated with the 2 metre queuing rule in operation. Toilets will be regularly cleaned and disinfected during the event.
Is it first come first served as regards where we will park?
Yes the only exception is if you have a gold circle VIP ticket and then you will be parked in the first two rows with the best views of the screen.
How does admission work?
When you arrive on site your ticket will be scanned through the window of your vehicle.
High sided vehicles such as people carriers will parked towards the rear or on an end so as not to block the site line of those behind.
Will food be available?
What time should I arrive?
We recommend you arrive up to 40 minutes prior to the event starting time and no later than 20 minutes before so you have enough time to park and get settled before the film begins. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals at the back.
Is there wheelchair access?
The event is held on grass. Wheelchair access is possible and there will be accessbile toilet facilities.
What if it rains?
Our events will not be cancelled unless there are dangerously high winds. If we are forced to cancel, a notice will be posted on our facebook page SunsetdriveinUK. Please follow us on Facebook..
