What is the impact from the latest government Covid-19 restrictions on September 22nd?

Following clarity from the government department of culture media and sport (DCMS) we can confirm that all of our movie screenings will go ahead as planned. Cinema is not included in the 10pm curfew.  Further information is below regarding the processes in place onsite to ensure social distancing & adherence to all government guidelines.

Will we be allowed out of our car while on site?

Weather permitting you will be able to sit beside your vehicle, however you must stay in your allocated space respecting social distancing and your group must not exceed 6 people and be from a maximum of 2 households. 

 

Please note you will not be able to put out anything that does not stay within your allocated space (respecting the 2m distancing) or anything that blocks the view of other customers.  Our team has the right to ask you to move or take down anything we feel does not meet this criteria.

Will social distancing & other measures be in place?

Yes while you are onsite we ask you to stay in or beside your vehicle as much as possible. If you need to move around the site to use the toilets or collect food then we ask you to maintain social distancing of 2m throughout.  Our team will be wearing face coverings for all interactions closer than 1m, we ask that you come prepared with the same in case you require assistance. In line with the latest guidelines there will be no food or drink service available after 10pm.

Will there be toilets available?

Yes  and toilets will be operated with the 2 metre queuing rule in operation. Toilets will be regularly cleaned and disinfected during the event.

 

Is it first come first served as regards where we will park?

Yes the only exception is if you have a gold circle ticket and then you will be parked or allocated a pod in the first four rows with the best views of the screen. 

 

How does admission work?

When you arrive on site your ticket will be scanned through the window of your vehicle.

Will food be available?

Yes, the is afternoon tea boxes and snack bags available to pre-order when you purchase your tickets, there will also be food available to buy during the event directly from our caterers, there will be a selection of hot food, drinks, snacks and ice-cream. All food and drink service will end by 10pm each evening.

Who is your Charity partner?

For our Ipswich event at Trinity Park we are proud to be supporting local charity Suffolk Community Foundation's Rebuilding Lives Appeal as our local charity partner in Suffolk. It is hoped that the Rebuilding Local Lives Appeal will deliver more local giving to the Suffolk Coronavirus Community Fund, which has been created and delivered by the Foundation. When you purchase a ticket to the event on SEE Tickets there will be an option to donate £1-10. You can read more about the charity by clicking here

 

How will I receive my ticket?

Our ticket partner is the long established and trusted SEE Tickets. You will be directed to buy your tickets from their site and they will send you a confirmation by email with the ticket attached. Make sure you check your spam or junk folder as well.

If you have an issue contact SEE Tickets via email or via their order tracket/chatbot service. They are also contactable by telephone on 0844 412 4648 (9am-6pm Monday to Friday or 9am-5pm Saturday).

 

What time should I arrive?

We recommend you arrive up to 40 minutes prior to the event starting time and no later than 20minutes before so you have enough time to park and get settled before the film begins. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals at the back.

 

Is there wheelchair access?

The event is held on  grass. Wheelchair access is possible and there will be accessbile toilet facilities.

 

What if it rains?

Our events will not be cancelled unless there are dangerously high winds. If we are forced to cancel, a notice will be posted on our facebook page SunsetdriveinUK. Please follow us on Facebook..

What is the refund policy?

Tickets are non-refundable however SEE Tickets offers the option to add insurance to your ticket purchase that could enable you to get a full refund. You will see this option during the ticket purchase on the SEE Tickets website. If the event is cancelled due to government or other restrictions outside of our control your ticket will be transferrable to our next event.
